Even though I’ve worked in the high-tech industry, I admit the concept of non-fungable tokens (NFTs) is pretty new to me–but the idea of creating digital art that you can sell as NFTs struck me as both a bit daunting and also really exciting at the same time.
With cats as the foundation for The Kollectionist’s art, it’s quite apparent that we love our pets. When we first adopted our two sibling kittens from a cat rescue facility, we quickly got to the point where we wouldn’t differentiate between human family member or animal family member. “Pet” wasn’t a term used; they were simply our boys.
With the release of the “Kommander Kat” collection, the Kollectionist (that’s me :)) has finally been launched!
I’ve designed an entire collectable playing card deck. Every card, from Ace through King–plus the requisite two Jokers, of course–is an original and unique variation of my cat photo: “Kommander Kat.”
